Emmanuel Plange has been a loyal and dedicated member of La Community Bank Limited since 1992, amassing over 32 years of service in the banking industry. Currently serving as the Risk and Compliance Manager and Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO), Emmanuel is a key figure in upholding the Bank's regulatory standards and managing risk across the institution. His responsibilities include overseeing internal controls, ensuring adherence to policies, and reporting to regulatory bodies such as the Bank of Ghana and the Financial Intelligence Centre.
Throughout his distinguished career, Emmanuel has held seven managerial roles, including Corporate Relationship Manager, Head of Administration, and Credits and Business Development Manager. His wealth of experience has made him an invaluable asset to the Bank, with a deep understanding of the institution’s operations and a commitment to its success.
In 2021, Emmanuel completed the prestigious Master Class Programme in Enterprise Risk Management through the Chartered Institute of Accountants Ghana (CIAG), further enhancing his expertise in risk management and business continuity. His educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Accounting) from the University of Cape Coast and a series of certified banking courses from the National Banking College and ARB Apex Bank Ltd.
Beyond his professional life, Emmanuel serves as Priest Warden at All Souls Anglican Church in Dansoman, Accra, and is a board member of the Anglican Church of Ghana (Accra West Archdeaconry). He is known for his strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead and motivate teams. In his free time, Emmanuel enjoys reading, cycling, and engaging with people from all walks of life.
